How to install DWA-140

IMPORTANT :

  • Please use only hard-wired network connections, to do the setup.
  • Disable firewall in your PC to avoid login problem

 

Step 1 Please insert the CD into the CD-ROM. The following page will appear. Click on “Install Drivers”.

 

Please refer to the picture below.

 

Step 2 At the next screen, select “English” and click on “Next”.

 

Step 3 Click “Next”.

 

Step 4 Select the desired folder to install the files to. Click on “Next”.

 

Step 5 Click on “Next” in the following screen.

 

Step 6 Insert the DWA-140 into the PC.

 

Step 7 The Installation progress indicator will appear.

 

Step 8 Select the options “Manually connect to a wireless network”.

 

Step 9 Click “Scan” to view all the available wireless network.

 

 Step 10 Select the desired SSID. Click on “Next”.

 

Step 11 Once connected, click on the Next button

 

 

Step 12 Click on “Finish”.

 

Step 13 Launch the D-Link wireless utility. You should see that the DWA-140 is connected to the wireless network.
